Car repairs are expensive. Sometimes taking your car to the body shop or mechanic isn’t going to happen. Most repairs should be done by a professional, but you can do some of them yourself. Here are some easy diy tutorials to try.
To replace your windshield wiper blades, you need replacements. As he points out in the video, check online or using your current windshield wiper blades to see what size you need for both the driver and passenger side. They may be two different sizes. You can do that here. This repair should only take 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
Get the windshield repair kit mentioned here for $10. This repair will take about an hour. It’s best to do it in direct sunlight, as it will take longer in the shade. Repair your windshield as soon as possible to avoid an even bigger crack.
Replacement side view mirrors are available here or most auto repair stores, such as Autozone. You will also need safety glasses, thick gloves, and a scraper blade. You do not need to take the side view mirror off of the car to replace the glass. This repair will take about 20 minutes.
